BMX and/or Forest School Teacher (Qualified or Unqualified) South East London Start: Next Term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive BMX Instructor and/or Forest School Teacher to join a specialist SEMH through school in South East London, working with pupils across both Primary and Secondary phases. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about alternative education, outdoor learning and engaging young people with additional needs through hands‑on, practical activities.

About the Role: * Deliver engaging BMX sessions and/or Forest School activities for pupils with SEMH needs * Support pupils with confidence-building, resilience, teamwork and personal development * Create safe, structured and motivating outdoor learning experiences * Use behaviour management and de‑escalation strategies when required * Build positive relationships and encourage participation from pupils with varied needs * Work alongside teachers, behaviour mentors and pastoral staff to support pupil progress

Requirements: * Experience working with young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour (education, youth work, outdoor education, sports coaching or similar settings) * Strong behaviour management and communication skills * Ability to lead engaging BMX or Forest School sessions (training or qualifications welcome but not essential) * Confident, calm and adaptable approach * Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people * Ability to commit full‑time from next term
