Veritas Education are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Biology Teacher on behalf of a secondary school partner based in Barnet, North West London. This is starting ASAP or November 2024 'GOOD' rated school where staff and pupils work collaboratively to make sure there is an inclusive learning environment for all.

The team within the science department are constructed with a combination of highly experienced and newly qualified teachers, who welcome new staff and provide continued support and mentoring through your time within the department. You will also have 3 technicians on hand to support you with your practical requirements.

You will be required to complete the planning and marking of your lessons and incorporate differentiation in accordance to the varying needs of the students. If you are looking to secure a new teaching role please apply or contact Tiv at Veritas Education.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience teaching Biology across key stage 3 & 4.
  • High level of subject knowledge in the Science curriculum.
  • Experience with planning lessons and marking.
  • Strong classroom presence and understanding of behaviour management.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate attitude to teaching.
