Behaviour Support Worker - Bradford

Veritas Education are working with a partner secondary school in the Bradford area who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs, building positive relationships, and helping students re-engage with learning. The role involves working closely with the pastoral and SEN teams to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering targeted interventions and 1:1 mentoring
  • Working alongside the pastoral and safeguarding teams
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Helping pupils regulate and positively engage with lessons
  • Providing support both in and out of the classroom

    • Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people with behavioural, SEMH, or pastoral needs
  • Confidence managing behaviour and building rapport quickly
  • A calm, resilient and supportive approach
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
