Job: Behaviour Support Worker
Type: Long Term Contract

Full Time - Leeds
Veritas Education are working with an alternative provision within the Leeds area who are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Worker, to start from January 2026 until the end of the academic year.
The provision supports children from 11-16 years old, who are currently on temporary exclusion, or facing a fixed permanent exclusion from mainstream schooling. The provision is set up with fantastic facilities, which enables students to develop academically, socially and emotionally, and helps facilitate their transition back into either mainstream schools or specialist provisions.
The role of a behaviour support worker will be to support key children on a 1:1 basis across their learning, working with them during their lessons, help them learn self-regulation and emotional control, but also manage behaviour and expectations across the setting.
The ideal staff member will be someone who is experienced in supporting SEMH/Behavioural needs, confident working with children on a one-to-one basis, and pro-active when it comes to getting involved within the student's core and vocational lessons to help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment!
