Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School - Wandsworth - ASAP Start

Are you a resilient and passionate Behaviour Mentor looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive SEMH school based in Wandsworth for an ASAP start.

Role Overview

  • Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Providing 1:1 behavioural support and small group interventions

  • Implementing behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques

  • Working closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team

  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

  • Requirements

  • Essential: Previous behaviour management experience (school, PRU, youth work, care, or similar)

  • Desirable: Experience working 1:1 with students

  • Calm, patient, and consistent approach

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a supportive manner
