Behaviour and Inclusion Support

Veritas Education are working with a range of primary, secondary and post 16 provisions in the North and West Yorkshire area, looking to recruit behaviour and inclusion Support staff members on a permanent basis.

The setting:

Veritas Education work with a range of SEN provision across Yorkshire, supporting children from 4 to 19 years old. Each school and setting support different needs and requirements, from complex, learning, communication and behaviour/mental health.

The Role:

A behaviour and inclusion support staff member will be working across the classroom environment, around the practical areas and on a one-to-one basis with specific students. The role requires staff members to help develop learners' social skills, support educational growth, manage disruptive and crisis behaviour, and implement an effective mentor approach to supporting the teaching and learning.

The role requires support staff to work alongside a range of children, with varying needs, behaviours and academic levels, and be able to adapt their care and support to meet the needs and abilities of each learner around the provision.

Previous experience supporting the teaching and learning within an educational or similar setting is essential, alongside being comfortable supporting a range of needs and behaviours.
