Position Information
West Wallsend Public School is a comprehensive co-educational primary school serving Kindergarten to Year 6 students in the West Wallsend area. Situated in heritage-listed buildings within the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle region, the school fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. 2. Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a leadership team, driving whole-school initiatives aligned with strategic goals while mentoring and motivating teachers to enhance High Potential Gifted Education (HPGE).
3. Demonstrated ability to analyse and use evidence-based data to inform practices that support student wellbeing, including the implementation of proactive behaviour management strategies, fostering positive relationships, and building a safe, inclusive school culture that enhances wellbeing outcomes for all students.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
