Position Information
Tanilba Bay Public School is regional coastal school that sits proudly on Worimi land in Port Stephens. The values of learning, caring and sharing underpin the schools' overall culture and we pride ourselves in our strong sense of community and inclusiveness of all students.
The school has an enrolment of 240 students across mainstream classes, with an additional support class. Approximately 29% of Tanilba Bay students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Staff work collaboratively to review data and strategically design, plan and implement quality differentiated teaching and learning programs. All members of our school community are supported to be safe, respectful learners in a positive environment.
Our school partners positively with the Youyoong Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) to ensure that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait culture and heritage is acknowledged and celebrated at our school.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
