Position Information
Ruse Public School is located in Campbelltown and serves a mixture of privately owned residential and rental housing. The population of the school is 490 students. 35% of students come from a non-English speaking background and 12% of students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach K-6 with evidence of outstanding classroom practice, with an emphasis on implementing and leading quality literacy and numeracy programs, which reflect current research, to improve student outcomes and engagement
Demonstrated highly visible and inclusive leadership with the capacity to effectively balance a dual role with a proven ability to effectively lead and support teachers of varying levels of expertise and experience.
Proven ability to lead a team of teachers in creating positive, connected and individualised student wellbeing approaches
Actively engage as a member of the leadership team, demonstrating a strong commitment to the continuous implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the School Excellence Plan in alignment with the NSW Plan for Public Education.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
