St Kieran's Catholic School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal - Religious Education. This position is a permanent teaching role with a Full Time, 5 Year Fixed Term appointment to the Assistant Principal - Religious Education position.

The Assistant Principal - Religious Education (APRE) provides effective professional leadership by developing and nurturing the Catholic tradition and Religious Life of the School and the coordination of Religious Education.

Please note that if the preferred candidate is currently on EPT, that when in a Senior Leadership role such as this, EPT is not available and the salary will be P8 plus the allowances. 

The purpose of the APRE is to exercise leadership and assist with the management of the school in accordance with Catholic Education policies and in consultation with other personnel as appropriate and with due reference to Catholic Education structures, processes and practices. The APRE is responsible for the supervision of those areas as delegated by the Principal and as designated in his/her duty statement which should be reviewed annually.
