Position Information
Oatlands Public school is a caring community school in the Carlingford Principal Network. Student enrolment in 2024 is 163 students, including 71 students who learn English as an additional language or dialet and 7 students who identify as Aboriginal. The school is dedicated to evidence based explicit teaching with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. There are opportunities for every student to achieve through a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sporting opportuinities and a specialist music program. Student wellbeing, voice and agency are valued and supported through a variety of learning and wellbeing programs and the school proudly works in partnership with parents, carers and the wider community.

Approval to teach infants and/or primary. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as part of an executive team and effectively balance the dual roles of exemplary classroom teacher and Assistant Principal.

Ability to work as part of a dynamic leadership team, strategically planning, leading and monitoring initiatives and applying evaluative practices to drive continuous improvement.

Proven capacity to increase connections through student voice and parent/community partnerships.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
