Position Information
Oakhill Drive Public School is located in Castle Hill. Our current enrolment numbers are at 700 students. 71% of our students are from a language background other than English. We have developed a research-based, data-informed, action-planned culture and are committed to achieving outstanding outcomes in the areas of leadership, teaching, learning, student welfare, and parent engagement. 1.Approval to teach infants and primary with proven expertise in creating rigorous learning environments and setting high expectations where all learners are challenged and supported to make progress in their learning.
2. Demonstrated high level of professional leadership that improves the practice of colleagues and demonstrates the transfer of curriculum and pedagogy into classrooms, leading to improved outcomes in literacy and numeracy for all students.
3. A visible leader with outstanding interpersonal skills, based on strong relational trust and strong emotional intelligence who engages in genuine collaboration and builds authentic partnerships with students, families and the wider community.
4. Lead wellbeing initiatives that promotes resilience and self-regulation through positive relationships and a restorative philosophy that contributes to an inclusive, harmonious and safe school environment.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
