Position Information
Middleton Public School is a K–6 school located in Parkes, NSW, with an enrolment of approximately 180 students across eight mainstream classes. Approximately 32% of our students identify as Aboriginal.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
- In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary and proven expertise in leading evidence-based, explicit teaching, differentiation strategies and providing effective feedback underpinned by high expectations.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a dynamic leadership team, strategically planning and applying evidence-based and data-informed practices to drive continuous improvement with a focus on a students across the full range of abilities and backgrounds.
- A collaborative leadership style that supports teachers to engage with and adopt explicit, evidence-based teaching methods and the use of data in literacy and numeracy to improve student learning outcomes to support initiatives in the School's Excellence Plan.
- Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative practices and foster a culture that values teamwork, underpinned by strong knowledge of curriculum and the capacity to lead teachers in effectively planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality teaching and learning programs.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
