Position Information
Martin's Gully Public School (170 enrolments, including 10 Aboriginal and 7 EAL/D students) is committed to providing high quality systems, practice and care that support and sustain a learning environment that is engaging, relevant and challenging to meet the needs of the individual learner. General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary with demonstrated leadership and excellence in the planning, differentiation, and delivery of high-quality educational programs in Stage 2 and Stage 3, including the implementation of High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) initiatives.
Evidence of collaborative, visible leadership, which includes the analysis and evaluation of the school's progress towards our School Excellence Plan in conjunction with Our Plan for NSW Public Education.
Demonstrated capacity to effectively balance the dual roles of exemplary classroom teacher with the complex responsibilities of a leadership role, with proven ability to lead staff in the delivery of school priorities and targets.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
