Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:

  • building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
  • growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
  • building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

As a key member of our school leadership team, you will support the Principal to provide effective leadership within the school community to ensure that staff and students receive quality formation and education in accordance with Catholic faith and Christian principles. This would typically involve planning, directing and regularly evaluating formation, identity and service-learning activities and by reviewing the efficacy of processes to support the religious life of the College.

With energy and authenticity, you will:
  • Actively work to embed a culture that embraces diversity and inclusiveness
  • Contribute to a culture of reflection and self-review and renewal, assisting staff and students to respond to the Catholic Identity, wellbeing, learning and teaching (EIA) agenda of the College
  • Provide leadership spiritual and faith formation
  • Lead our Religious Education Curriculum to drive highly effective, evidence-based professional practice in the Religious Education department.

Estimated Start Date: Commencing January 2025
Initial Contract Period: Initial 5 year contract phase with a further 5 years subject to satisfactory performance in the role
Salary and Range: $145,401 - $152,544 per annum plus Super
Campus: Secondary College | 680 enrolments
