Position Information
Ashmont Public School is located in the city of Wagga Wagga on Wiradjuri country. Ashmont Public School has an enrolment of 290 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, including 56% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
1. Approval to teach infants and/or primary (K-6) with demonstrated capacity and experience in balancing exemplary classroom practice and coordination of the complex leadership and management role of an Assistant Principal.
2. Demonstrated capacity to build authentic connections and collaboration with all students, staff, parents and the community, including our multicultural community, to strengthen educational partnerships that improve student outcomes.
3. Proven leadership capacity in managing effective behaviour strategies, wellbeing and attendance processes that help students connect, succeed, thrive, and learn.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
