As a member school of Good Samaritan Education, St Scholastica’s takes pride in educating young women, from years 7 to 12, who, with justice and compassion, will make a difference in the world. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified science educator to join our collaborative department as Assistant Head of Science from Term 1, 2025 in a full-time permanent capacity.

The role involves, but is not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Head of Science to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences for all students (Chemistry or Physics and Junior Science).
  • Fostering a culture of trust and respect within the department to build collective efficacy.
  • Assisting in overseeing the management of the science curriculum, programs and associated administration.
  • Stepping in for the Head of Science when necessary.

The role is 0.9FTE teaching and 0.1FTE Leadership, with a Level 1 Leadership Allowance.
