Role Summary
Mathematics Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They support students in developing their knowledge, understanding and skills in mathematics and working mathematically. Mathematics Teachers encourage mathematical thinking through questioning, communicating, reasoning, and reflecting and help students generalise, find connections, and think critically and creatively, using appropriate technology to support mathematical activity. Mathematics Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence. In addition to teaching and associated responsibilities, this position comes with a 4 period allocation for a combination of leadership responsibilities as suited to the skillset of the applicant and the needs of the Department.

- Three Referees, one of whom should be your Church Minister or Pastor.
- Copies of qualifications.
- ‘100 Point’ proof of identity (e.g. Driver’s Licence, Medicare card, birth certificate, passport).
- Current Working with Children Check Number for paid work.
