Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Wigan from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and dedicated teacher who is passionate about inspiring students through art and developing their confidence, imagination, and artistic skills. We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Plan, prepare and assess work where required.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and promote learning.

    • Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for Art and education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
