Are you a creative, passionate, and resilient Art Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We have a great SEN school seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join our team and inspire pupils with a wide range of additional needs-including autism, complex learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.

Art Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse needs
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment
  • Use visual aids, sensory resources, and creative teaching strategies
  • Work closely with therapists, TAs, and the wider SEN team
  • Celebrate pupil progress through exhibitions, displays, and creative projects
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

    • Art Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Passionate about inclusive teaching and creative learning
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Skilled at differentiating work for varying abilities
  • Confident working with pupils with complex needs
  • Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
