We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Officer to join our Student Diversity and Wellbeing and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Teams. You will provide comprehensive administrative support, utilizing advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly SharePoint. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, flexible, proactive, and skilled at prioritizing tasks effectively while embracing and celebrating diversity.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to the Student Diversity and Wellbeing and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Teams.
  • Coordinate culture and leadership training events, including logistics and scheduling.
  • Manage the iLearn LMS and support end users.
  • Gather feedback from training events to inform improvements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with BCE school staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Extract and prepare reports from BCE systems to support decision-making and performance reporting.
  • Use advanced Microsoft Office skills to support administrative functions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

About You:
  • Passionate about providing administrative support and committed to embracing diversity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, particularly SharePoint.
  • Adaptable, flexible, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of preparing detailed reports and presenting findings.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining professional relationships, working collaboratively with school-based role holders and leadership teams.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; previous experience in a similar position is highly regarded.
  • Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence, if required.
