About the role:

As an Administrative Officer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service when engaging with internal and external stakeholders. This includes providing accurate information and advice in line with school policies and Principal directives, while showing empathy and strong interpersonal understanding.
  • Maintain proficiency in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Interpret departmental and school policies and guidelines, ensuring all legislative and procedural requirements are met.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Business Manager or their delegate.

Highly desirable skills and experience:

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound professional judgement and the ability to exercise discretion in a workplace setting.
  • Relevant experience is highly regarded but not essential.
