About the Role:
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) while assisting with a range of front office functions that contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school.
The successful applicant will be a collaborative team player who can also work independently when required. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Administering student medications
- Providing high-quality customer service to students, staff and families
- Undertaking a variety of general administrative duties to support daily school operations
- Apply day to day independence in determining work schedules and sequences within a well-defined environment with regular managerial supervision
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members); provides information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives; and demonstrates empathy, emotional understanding and support
