About The Role

Chinchilla State School is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and organised Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position. It provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who values teamwork and is committed to supporting efficient human resource, financial and administrative operations within an educational setting.

Desirable Skills

Desirable but not mandatory skills and experiences are:

  • Previous experience working in Education Queensland facility
  • Previous experience working/using OneSchool
  • Previous experience using ID Attend
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct

Your Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities in this role will include: 

  • As the Administration Officer (AAEP), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the Business Manager and Deputy Principal with human resource tasks
  • Assisting with school finance functions as required
  • Maintaining student attendance database (ID Attend)
  • Providing general administrative support to the front office team
  • Supporting Leadership Team with communication eg. Newsletters, weekly updates etc.
  • Event preparation coordination as required
