About Us:

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services team supports schools with students who use Auslan directly in a variety of ways including by providing virtual teacher of the deaf programs across the state as well as ongoing professional support to school staff. Administrative support is vital to ensure these programs progress smoothly in terms of registrations, bookings and payments.

The Role:

As an Administration Officer you will:

  • Provide support to the administration of the annual budget for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services.
  • Manage purchasing requirements, payment of invoices, booking of interpreters and booking of statewide travel for staff working in a borderless capacity.
  • Assist the Deaf and Hard and Hearing Service team in the provision on ongoing professional support to school staff, including sourcing and booking venues, managing registrations, bookings and payments.
  • Undertake work across a broad range of corporate service activities, including human resource (HR), financial and facilities, and undertake a range of duties relating to specific corporate services functions.  

This full-time vacancy is available with an immediate start until 28 March 2025, unless otherwise determined.
