About the role 

As School Administration Officer at St Patrick's School, you will become an integral part of our staff providing a wide range of administrative support services to the school leadership team.

You'll have the opportunity to interact with our school and be part of a warm, welcoming team and wider community as you respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from staff, students, parents and the general public. The provision of timely and accurate information is key to supporting our school operations. Our school located in the heart of Nanango.

Key tasks include:

  • Assist in sorting, collation and distribution of correspondence and mail
  • Respond to telephone and counter enquiries from parents, students and the school community
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information in relation to school attendance, enrolment process and other relevant school information
  • Assist with arranging meetings and gatherings
  • Assist with maintaining record systems
  • Assist with providing medical support to students
  • Provide support with technology used in the school.


To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
