About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an approachable and caring Administration Officer to join the supportive team at St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School in Coonamble, NSW. The Administration Officer in a Catholic school performs a wide range of duties that assist with the overall smooth administration of the school

With responsibilities ranging from managing phone calls and emails, to assisting with administrative tasks, and providing support to students and staff, the Administration Officer is vital in maintaining an organised and positive atmosphere within the school. Daily tasks include:

  • Answering phones and directing calls

  • Reception – greeting students, parents and community – answering queries or directing queries

  • First aid to students and staff as required

  • Attending to first aid emergencies around the school

  • General administration duties

  • Support to school staff as required

  • Duties around the school as required

About You
We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria:

  • A professional and personable disposition (in person and via telephone)

  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask

  • Current First Aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Good time management and organisational skills

  • Hold a current drivers licence
