About Springfield Lakes State School

Springfield Lakes State School opened in 2007. Since its opening Springfield Lakes State School has developed a positive reputation within the local and wider community for academic, arts and sporting achievement. The current student enrolment is 1170, with students enrolled at the school from Prep to Year 6. 

The focus at Springfield Lakes State School is always around improvement and 'doing and being our best'. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Asset Management: Track and maintain inventory of school assets, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Finance Support: Provide backup at the finance counter, assisting staff and stakeholders with queries and transactions.
  • HR Assistance: Support HR functions, including record maintenance, onboarding processes, and responding to employee inquiries. 

About You

An Ideal candidate will have following knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, finance, or HR role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
