Who We Are:
Camira State School was established in 1974 and has been proudly providing an education for students from Camira and surrounding suburbs for over forty years.
Camira is a suburb of Ipswich City located on the western side of Brisbane and approximately 9km East of the Ipswich City centre.
Camira State School is a co-educational school with approximately 650 students currently enrolled across 27 classes from the Preparatory Year to Year 6. We also offer a Pre-Prep Program designed to ease the transition in to Primary Education.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Front office reception - telephone, face-to-face and email inquiries and/or communication;
- Production of documents making use of Microsoft Office applications;
- Assist the Principal in identifying workforce needs including maintaining
accurate records, tracking staff data, monitoring staff replacement and ensuring all relevant compliance training is valid and current. - Under the direction Principal, organise and manage supply and contract placements for both teaching and support staff.
- Provide a range of financial administrative activities and operations including data entry, maintenance of financial registers, computing and clerical support for the effective operations of the office, in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements
- General office tasks; filing, photocopying, stationery management.

The Perfect Fit:
The successful applicant should have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications and an ability to adapt to new programs, applications and systems utilised in our school.
As an Administration Officer A03, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of customer service to staff, parents, carers students and visitors.
Knowledge of DET programs (OneSchool, QParents) is welcomed but not essential. Training will be supplied on the job.
