About Balmoral State High School
Balmoral State High School was established in 1958. Over many decades this great secondary school has provided the education thousands of students have needed to begin their careers or move on to further study. Graduates have access to the full range of post-school options - tertiary study, training or the workforce. We are situated on ten hectares in Morningside, approximately 6km from the Brisbane CBD.

About the Role
This role will primarily be assisting with Accounts Payable. The role may include (but not limited to):

  • Entering requisitions, ensuring Department of Education procurement procedures have been followed
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices and charge accounts into the OneSchool system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile corporate cards
  • Confirm goods received and record accurately in OneSchool
  • Ensure that all accounts are paid and recovered in a timely and accurate manner and provide advice on financial matters.
  • Assets disposal and creation
  • Homestay Payments
  • Supplier ID requests

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of OneSchool Accounts Payable;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and online applications;
  • Knowledge of DoE financial policies and procedures;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and initiative;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
