About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the supportive team at St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School in Dubbo, NSW. The Administration Assistant is employed to perform a wide range of duties that assist with the overall smooth administration of the school and is directly responsible to the Principal.
About You
We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team of assistants, contributing to a cooperative and supportive work environment.

Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, particularly in educational settings.

Proficiency in using TECH1, COMPASS, and other school management systems.

Knowledge of student attendance procedures and school correspondence protocols.

Ability to liaise effectively with the principal, staff, parents, and students.

Experience in managing communications, including school newsletters, emails, and website updates.

Experience in managing filing systems, reports, and student records.
-
Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in handling school bus procedures, booking buses, and managing excursions.

Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and experience in administering medications.

Understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities and ability to comply with safety policies.

Ability to support the principal in maintaining budgets.

Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities within the school environment.
