About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for three approachable and caring Primary Classroom Teachers to join the supportive team at Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Kelso, NSW. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student. 

We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

  • Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.

  • Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.

  • Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.

  • Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.

  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.

  • Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.

  • Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You
We are looking for someone able to address the following selection criteria:

  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.

  • Understanding students and their Learning.

  • Structure teaching programs based on students, research and collegial input.

  • Implement strategies responsive to community, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. 

  • Content Knowledge and Pedagogy.

  • Design teaching programs aligned with curriculum and assessment requirements.

  • Effective Planning and Implementation.

  • Evaluate teaching programs using student feedback and assessment data.

  • Create opportunities for caregiver involvement in student learning.

  • Supportive and Safe Learning Environments.

  • Ensure student well-being and safety by adhering to curriculum and legislative requirements.

  • Assessment and Reporting.

  • Provide clear and respectful reports on student achievement using reliable records

  • Professional Learning Engagement.

  • Contribute to discussions and apply feedback to improve professional practice.

  • Professional Engagement with Community.  

  • Comply with relevant policies and maintain collaborative relationships with caregiver.
