Vietnam Schoolies 2015

The Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) is excited to launch their Vietnam Schoolies Challenge. School leavers will embark on a remarkable journey through Vietnam to discover its untouched culture, unleash their inner philanthropist and join the fight against cervical cancer.

Date November 22, 2015 - December 3, 2015
Time 8:00am - 12:00am

The Vietnam Schoolies Challenge runs 22 November - 3 December 2015 and the fundraising component allows school leavers to choose to pay for the travel costs and fundraise for ACCF or fundraise the entire travel amount as well as for ACCF.

Cervical cancer is one of the biggest causes of death in Vietnamese women and this life-changing journey will take school leavers to the ACCF’s clinics and project sites, where they will get their hands dirty; painting, building and assisting with administration are just some of the project activities.

It’s not all hard work, school leavers will also discover the French Colonial Character of Hanoi, travel deep into the valleys of Mai Chau to explore the traditional villages of the white Thai minority, take a cruise, swim and kayak through the turquoise waters of Halong Bay and cycle through Ninh Bihn to discover its natural beauty.

Students, parents and teachers all tell us ACCF’s challenges make a real difference for participants, fostering valuable attitudes and skills to apply in aspects of their future.

ACCF’s Challenges are life changing

"Participating in an ACCF Challenge was an amazing a fufilling experience that has changed my life completley. Since returning it has made me realise how lucky I am to live in Australia and how important it is to fight for equal health rights after seeing first-hand how much people struggle in developing countries." - Georgia Done, Participant

Teacher, Hayley said the ACCF Challenge enabled her students to step out of their comfort zone to “open their hearts and realise they can make a real difference and apply their experience positively to all aspects of life.”

Just $20 can help screen and treat a Vietnamese woman and this trip will take school leavers on a rewarding schoolies adventure like no other.
