The school has nurtured the talents of sporting identities such as Wally Lewis, Steve Holland, Hayley Lewis and Marissa Carpadios.
Amongst its alumni is a former Director-General of Education and many students - estimated to be over 17,000 - who have gone on to lead purposeful lives with the values that were nurtured by the school community.
