AAMT 2017: Capital Maths

Make your way to Canberra for the 26th Biennial Conference of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers.

In July 2017, our nation’s capital will be reverberating to the sounds of people sharing their ideas, experience and enthusiasm for mathematics and mathematics teaching. Join Australian and international colleagues to share, discuss and learn about current trends, issues and events in mathematics education at this premier professional event.

This year the conference will be hosted at the National Convention Centre Canberra. Located 7 km from the airport, the National Convention Centre is just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. There are a range of accommodation options nearby, with easy access to Canberra’s cultural institutions, parks, shops and restaurants. Join us for the President’s Reception on the evening of Tuesday 11 July. Enjoy local and regional produce for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, each day of the conference.

Sign up for the conference excursion to Questacon, Australia’s National Science and Technology Centre, on Wednesday 12 July. Questacon promotes a greater awareness and understanding of science and technology with engaging, interactive exhibits.
