Young Public School

 Young Public School is located in the northern Riverina area of New South Wales and has an enrolment of 543 students, including 42 Aboriginal students. The school has 3 support classes as well as 20 mainstream classes for students K-6. As a Positive Behaviour for Learning school, student wellbeing underpins the positive learning and social environment of the school. Our team of experienced and early career teachers develop student learners through the focus on highly effective programs in English, mathematics, creative and performing arts and STEM. High expectations for learning – enrichment and support, results in outstanding student achievement and growth. Young Public School experiences a high level of success in academic, sporting and cultural areas and offers opportunities in music, public speaking and debating, student leadership and a wide range of sporting activities. The school enjoys support from a committed group of actively engaged and enthusiastic parent and community members.
