Opposite Newcastle Beach, and right in the centre of town, this friendly YHA is perfect for travellers looking for affordable accommodation. Better still, you can get there by train (hourly service from Sydney) using your Opal card for under $10.

YHA Newcastle Beach has a large variety of co-living rooms for your group to stay in. We can accommodate groups in 4, 6, 8 and 10 share rooms. 8 and 10 share rooms have ensuite bathrooms whereas the 4 and 6 share rooms use the communal bathrooms. Each room includes linen and lockers. Towels are not available for hire, please bring your own.

We also have a number of private rooms available for your group to choose from if you prefer a little more privacy. Choose from a single room or a twin/double room. Each room includes linen and TV.
