Wilsons Creek Public School is located in a rural area on the far north coast of NSW, 10 km south west of Mullumbimby. The school has a current enrolment of 18 students K-6. The school is focused on improving student learning outcomes through attendance and engagement, Visible Learning and connections to community. There is a continued emphasis on embedding quality teaching practices in literacy and numeracy using the strategies of collaboration and high expectations. Our Valley of Small Schools community of practice is collaborating around Inquiry Based pedagogy. Through initiatives such as Smiling Mind and Kindness on Purpose, environmental and creative arts programs with an emphasis on music and visual arts, Wilsons Creek Public School prides itself in developing the whole child.
