Wamberal Public School located in a bushland setting, has grown to an enrolment of 705 students including 41 Aboriginal students. The school has a mix of experienced and early career teachers who are motivated and committed to the provision of quality teaching and learning with a focus on improvement in numeracy and literacy. The school promotes a wide range of wellbeing practices underpinned by the PBL Framework to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive, connect and succeed. There is a diverse range of sporting, cultural and creative arts opportunities available for students.
A significant upgrade of school facilities through SINSW was completed in 2020. There is a strong focus on developing collborative and innovative teaching practices. The school has an active and supportive school community.
