Tuncurry Public School has an enrolment of 396 students - including 59 Aboriginal and/or Torres STrait Islander students. It is located on the Mid North Coast and is a proud member of the Great lakes Learning Community.
Tuncurry Public School is an inclusive learning organisation where core expectations of respect, safety and personal best empower learners to become successful, confident, creative individuals and active informed citizens. The school is well equiped with a heritiage dating back to 1881. It is comprised of 15 mainstream classes and 1 Multicategory class which will increase to 3, Term 1 2021. Tucnurry Public School offers a variety of extracurricular activites for our students to participate in.
The Assistant Principal position will be responsible for overseeing the establisment and ongoing management of the support classes and the wellbeing and educational progress of the students. This will include managing and supporting staff, liasing with parents and support wokers and working as part of the executive team to develope programs and policies.
