Toormina High School is a comprehensive co-educational school that includes a special education support unit. The school has an enrolment of 750 students, including 18% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 6% language background other than English students. The school is situated on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, eight kilometres south of Coffs Harbour. The school works collaboratively within the Bongil Bongil Community of Schools (BBCoS) comprising several partner primary schools located within Sawtell, Toormina, Boambee, Bonville and Crossmaglen. A highly skilled and dedicated staff provide a wide range of learning and extra-curricular opportunities for students. We have an involved and committed Parents and Citizens’ Association and Aboriginal Education Consultative Group and enjoy strong ties to our local Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal.
