Toongabbie West Public School

Toongabbie West Public School (307 students) including 55% of students from language backgrounds other than English. The school has a strong community involvement with high expectations for student participation and achievement.   The cohesive staff team is committed to student well-being through quality teaching, collaborative planning and the Positive Behaviour for Learning program. Our school emphasises a rich, dynamic academic curriculum, including excellent performing arts, physical education and information and communication technology programs. Highly effective literacy and numeracy programs are implemented, underpinned by the NSW Quality Teaching Framework. Three hearing support classes operate within the school.
