The Oaks Public school is situated in the middle of The Oaks township, a semi-rural setting, 14 kilometres from Camden. It caters for students from K-6. The school has a current enrolment of 285 students, including 5% identifying as Aboriginal. There is a mix of experienced and early career teachers who continue to place an emphasis on student and community wellbeing. The school focuses on developing student skills in collaboration, leadership and being resilient learners. Collaborative planning and decision-making are valued by an enthusiastic staff who are committed to continual improvement. The school staff enjoy positive relationships with parents, carers and community and is supported by an active P & C. All members of the school community work together to ensure The Oaks Public School is a dynamic, happy and caring environment in which students are collaborative partners in their learning.
