The Crescent School is a specialist educational setting located in the Goulburn, with a current enrolment of 73 students, and is the only School for Specific Purposes (SSP) in the Southern Tablelands. All students at The Crescent School are supported by a highly skilled and qualified staff that has a deep knowledge and understanding of students aged 4–18 years of age with an intellectual disability, complex health care needs, mental health conditions, and / or behavioural support needs. School programs are underpinned by collaboratively developed student–centred plans. These plans are responsive to the individual needs of our students and their families. Our students come from a diverse range of socio–economic backgrounds and cultures.14.2% of the school population identify as Aboriginal. The school Parents and Citizens Committee support the implementation of planning, policy and programs in our school. The school shares expertise and builds the capability of staff in schools across the Southern Tablelands through regular networking opportunities.
