Tanilba Bay Public School is committed to creating the difference, making excellence achievable for all students. The school has a current enrolment of 515 students, with approximately 15% students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Our professional learning community is actively engaged in high quality professional learning designed to support excellent and effective teaching and improve student literacy and numeracy outcomes.
The leadership structure of the school includes a Deputy Principal, 5 Assistant Principals, three of whom lead instructional practice across a stage. Two additional Assistant Principals manage the schoolâs wellbeing and personalised learning programs.
The new Assistant Principal will join a mutually supportive executive team. They will assume leadership of a stage, leading and managing targeted projects while providing instructional leadership. Assistant Principals all participate in the schoolâs Positive Behaviour for Learning programs. Teachers or experienced assistant principals with demonstrated expertise leading a particular stage are encouraged to apply, outlining how they would add value and drive continuous improvement on our team.
