Tallong Public School (student enrolment 65 – 2 Aboriginal) is a rural school in the Southern Highlands village of Tallong. It has a FOEI of 114 and a dedicated teaching staff (FTE 3 inclusive of the Teaching Principal). The school is supported by the community and an active and committed Parents & Citizens organisation. The school is a member of the Goulburn Community of Schools as well as the Bong Bong Executive Network group of schools, whose principals and staff collaborate to provide transition programs and academic, sporting and creative opportunities for all students. Tallong's staff and students have high expectations for learning and each class is furnished to facilitate future learning pedagogy including effective integration of technology.​
