Sturt Public School has an enrolment of 400 students, including 11% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 7% from a Non-English Speaking Background. In fact, we celebrate 29 different nationalities. It is a dynamic learning community with dedicated staff committed to continual improvement of student learning outcomes, through quality teaching practices and differentiated learning for all students. It includes an opportunity class for gifted and talented students in Years 5-6. The school has high expectations for success in literacy, numeracy and technology underpinned by a culture of innovative professional learning. The school is dedicated to engaging 21st Century learners through our Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths program and other extra-curricular activities. The staff and parents enjoy a positive relationship, actively promoting the school and its students.
