WHAT IS THE STARLIGHT SMILE PROJECT?
With an increased focus on health and wellbeing in our children, many schools are embracing Positive Education, concentrating on student wellbeing, anti-bullying and social and emotional learning programs.
To support Positive Education, last year Starlight launched the Starlight Smile Project; a program inspiring primary school children to raise smiles by performing sponsored kind acts in their community.

ABOUT STARLIGHT CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION
The Starlight Children’s Foundation supports sick kids in hospitals around Australia. Our superhero, Captain Starlight, has a mission to make sick kids smile. They spend time with the children in the hospitals’ Starlight Express Rooms, helping them forget their illness - replacing pain, fear and boredom with joy and laughter. They help sick kids, be kids again.
Starlight's programs were developed to complement the Australian healthcare system in partnership with leading Australian health professionals and Positive Psychology experts.Starlight's hospital and community programs support all children, teenagers and their families, regardless of illness, injury or age. These programs consist of:
•Starlight Express Rooms- found in every major children's hospital in the country
•Livewire - Starlight's adolescent program
•Starlight Wishgranting
•Outreach programs
As demand continues to grow, Starlight relies solely on the community and corporate partners to deliver and evolve these innovative hospital and community programs.
