St Patrick's College

School / Last updated 5 years, 4 months ago

St Patrick’s College was established on the cliffs of Shorncliffe overlooking Moreton Bay on 29 January 1952 with 129 students and four Christian Brothers as the staff. From its beginning, it became a significant and proud part of Shorncliffe and Sandgate, offering a holistic Catholic education to many young men within the local areas.

Over the decades, the College has grown but is still very much a proud part of the local Shorncliffe community. It has become well-known for its excellence in education and service programs that have given much to the local and wider communities.

St Patrick’s College is renowned as an inclusive school that respects and embraces the diverse backgrounds of all its families. It has always been very proud of its connection to Shorncliffe and heritage as a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition.
