St John The Baptist Catholic School (Freshwater, NSW)

St John the Baptist Catholic School, Freshwater is situated on Sydney’s northern beaches. It is a small school and this enables us to care for each child as a special individual. There are 12 classes K-6 and an enrolment of 289 children.We are a growing school with two stream Kindergarten to Year 4. We provide an integrated curriculum which challenges the children’s initiative, creativity and ability, and develops a range of appropriate generic skills. St John’s is very well resourced in the areas of technology, sport, music and drama, and provides classes in chess, public speaking, debating and French and Italian (2003). The community is very active and supportive in the educative and social areas of the school. Inspired by the teachings and values of Jesus Christ, we as a Catholic community are committed to providing a challenging education, so that the future is met with faith, confidence and energy.
